The point of all the focus on creating shared-profits is to dramatically expand the ability of not-for-profits to do their good works without spending valuable time and effort constantly passing the tin cup around in hopes of securing much needed funds.
[some non-profits spend up to 90 percent of the money you give them to find more money, how crazy is that !!!]
We don't want the valued deeds of the people who share their time in these good works to be constantly at the mercy of corporate and individual whims of egocentricity and self-promotion....these deeds are too important to be treated as "charity"....they are vital community assets and interests.
Also, we don't intend on simply giving a bunch of money to non-profits either, we will constantly observe, test, critique and offer investments for improvements to ongoing operations...those too slow to learn or too stubborn to change their obsolescent or counter-productive approaches will be replaced by parallel operations which compete with and ultimately edge out these inferior operations.
It (is) a competition.
We want only the best companies serving our community and our investments will reflect this creed.....its not a giveaway, it is a partnership of common interests, and it continues for as long as those interest, including a shared outlook, remain similair enough.
The benefits for those who join our campaign to transform the business mentality, from one of self-service to one of community partnership, come in the form of a support network of services and resources both individual and collective to strenghten them and offer opportunities for expansion and development so that their personal ambitions can be realized....in the process of serving their community....these benefits are primarily aimed at small and medium sized businesses, though some of the larger companies will enjoy these benefits as well.
Some money will come from SC funds, outside the pooled shared-profit funds that are obligated for not-for-profit causes, the rest will from community mechanisms of pooling resources (including money).
The greatest benefit will be the promotion of products or services, with a seal/stamp/logo which identifies the participant as a commonwealth contributor...an advantage over companies that are self-serving....and that is the point...to make for-profit enterprise an endangered species.
Also included will be legal, medical, training for personnel, security, co-advertising/marketing, technology upgrades, retooling equipment, loans and investments, and others as may be usefull or requested.
Essentially there is an external commonwealth serving the community by the members and an internal one among the members, which is served from time to time by the community.
Shared-profit members will discharge their share of not-for-profit funds to us.....all pooled moneys will be for use in implementating our projects.
