S.U.O.T.S
Seattle University of the Sciences
A 1000 acre campus at the southend of Seattle, dedicated to scientific excellence.

Its purpose is threefold.

First, it is the foundation stone for the creation and maintance of advanced business models within C-Systems, among Seattle Commonwealth Shared-profits, plus the Consortium Companies of the Commonwealth for Human Ideals.

Second, it is formed with the intent of drawing large numbers of very talented people to the greater Seattle area to stay...and live among us, improving on the quality our communities by developing the non-for-profit and civic projects of the Seattle Commonwealth and the Commonwealth for Human Ideals.

Third, it is to improve upon the interest in, and the usefullness of, the sciences in civil life...

Big Picture

Serving 200,000+ students annually.
Graduating 50,000+ each  year....1 million in 20 years.

A Campus utilitizing widespread underground design and engineering to maximize the use of space.

350 acres of buildings plus 650 acres of park-like settings (greenery).

6-8 levels of underground parking covering 200 acres, providing 220,000+ vehicle lots.

A quicktube train transport extending in 4-8 different directions perhaps connecting to the whole city...underground within the grounds of the campus.

4-6 levels of underground rest, relaxation, and entertainment centers, plus play arenas and courts, swimming pools, sauna's and many other generous accomodations, spanning 400+ acres.
There will be no stadiums or formal sports teams or leagues.

And 50 or so acres of storage facilities.

Living Spaces

Beneath the 350 acres of buildings will be a complex of Nestles....small living units designed primarily for singular occupants.....all 200,000 students AND all staff (expected to be 10-20,000 part and full time) will have one, so that they may study and live on campus without further costs to them.
Couples may combine units and non-students may likewise when coupled with a student, when there are vacancies....at a resonable cost...including all accomodations as students would have.

As with Tek City, each Nestle will be a self-contained house providing a compacted version (250-400 square feet...10-12 feet high ceiling to increase sense of space) of studio living space, including fold out kitchen, shower, bed...built in stereo and video system...independent multipoint and multidirectional heating/cooling system, thousand-point lighting (adjustable to 1k levels from daylight level on a bright cloudless day to barely lighted), and more...design will take into account noise/vibration suppression within each unit and sections of units including electronic noise-canceling technologies to make each persons zone, one of quiet comfort, regardless of any unneighborliness close by.

Important points of distinction

Daytime and Nightime Classes...with a 17 hour per day schedule.
There will be no classes between 3-7am and 12-3pm, as these are periods when human beings experience their circadian chronobiological lows....periods of depressed attention, energy, and effectiveness of efforts.
All non-teaching facilities will otherwise function and do so regardless of the time or holidays or weekends...24/7/365.

All reading material will be digitized...and each student will be issued portable pads where all these materials may be accessed at all times of the day.  Librarians in the traditional sense will not be present, they will instead become information specialists developing the resources necessary to assisst students in fulfilling their studies and in developing researchers'/professors' curricula and experiments.

There will be a new system of standardization and certification...there will be no Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorates to certify a persons qualities.
A new system which will give a broad certification, with caveats explaining what a person has actually been certified for, specifically competent to do, as well as their problem areas.......these will be subject to updating, through further certifications in the future, as skills and experiences accumulate, and practitioners of the particular skill-sets mature in their chosen field.
Further certifications will require varying degrees of testing including perhaps weeks-long examinations, but no further study or moneys will be required to attain further certifications.

Those from outside schools who wish to attain these certifications will have to pay.

All tuition....will be free.
As will Housing.
As will Parking.
As will Food, Study Materials, and on-Campus entertainment.

Getting Here

The price for these benefits will be a requirement to serve (typical of a 4 year study) 6 years at not-for-profits designated by SC/CHI or within the groups that plan, prepare, and execute their not-for-profit and civic projects PLUS take employment at one of the Shared-profits of SC (or) in Consortium Companies of CHI...which gives students an opportunity to work and serve outside the U.S.

This obligation will commence once studies have completed.

Preference will be shown for 1/3rd of available student slots toward those with a prior record of living in Washington State (minimum 12 consequtive months) anytime in the last 10 years.
And for those with employment in Washington for 6 consequtive months with [one] employer in the prior 2 year-period.
Another 1/3rd will be preferential towards those outside the U.S.
